Mr. Matthew Lofgran is an entrepreneur with experience in oil & gas exploration and production companies on a global scale. He is experienced in creating new ventures and operating in multi-cultural enviornments.
Matthew is the Chief Executive Officer of AIM oil and gas explorer Nostra Terra Oil & Gas Company Ltd (NTOG), a position he has since 2009. Under Mr. Lofgran’s stewardship he repositioned the company from Ukraine to the USA. Focusing on using modern technologies or horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing in existing fields.
Mr. Lofgran's work experience covers North America, Mexico, Europe and Africa.
Dr. Martin Keeley
With 34 years of global exploration and operational industrial experience, half of which at board level, Martin contributes the technical skills and strategic insight. His areas of geographical expertise include West and North Africa, and South America.
He holds a B.Sc. (Bristol) and Ph.D (Dublin) in Geology, and was Visiting Professor in Petroleum Geology at UCL 2002-5.
Martin has operated onshore exploration campaigns in Africa, South America, Europe and central Asia. His original exploration strategies have led directly to material finds in Egypt, Algeria, Colombia, Brazil and Peru. As founder director of Emerald Energy in 1996, he not only negotiated exploration contracts, but also raised the risk capital and directed technical strategy and operations. The company was eventually sold at a multiple of 66 times its initial market capitalization.
Peter holds a degree in Earth Science (Sheffield University) and an MSc in Petroleum Geology (Aberdeen University). He has 23 years experience in the international oil and gas industry working in New Ventures and Business Development.
Recent experience includes co-founder of Black Star Petroleum and building successful oil company JVs in West Africa, including Guinea Bissau, Senegal AGC, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Equatorial Guinea.
He has recent valuable experience managing exploration campaigns and work programmes, including Ghana, Sao Tome, Bénin, and Nigeria.
Peter has a track record of advising large cap companies and small start-ups in identifying and securing material growth assets in Africa. Recognised as a specialist in Sub-Saharan Africa, he has completed deals with the likes of Black Star Petroleum and Impact Oil & Gas(Guinea Bissau), Talisman (Nigeria and Sierra Leone) and Rocksource (AGC).
Over the years Mr. Elliott has gained experience both in field operations as well as business development strategy, working for companies such as IEDS (IHS), Western Geophysical and Schlumberger, with a focus on the littoral countries of Africa. Mr. Elliott advises on E&P growth strategy, exploration, M&A and E&P Joint Ventures.
